Ғәниев Әлмир Әмир улы (born October 24, 1940) is a scientist and engineer in metallurgy. He earned his Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in 2001 and became a professor in 2003. He was recognized as an Honored Scientist of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2007. Since 1973, he has been teaching at Ufa Aviation Institute and Ufa State Aviation Technical University, and served as the head of the department of melting production machinery and technology from 2001 to 2009.
