Einar Rørstad (1922-1981) was a Norwegian director of Norsk Korrespondenceskole, which later became NKS Nettstudier and part of Høyskolen Kristiania. He took over from founder Ernst G. Mortensen in 1962, serving until 1966. Rørstad graduated from Kongsgård school in 1942 and was imprisoned from 1942 to 1945. After the war, he studied at the University of London and earned a Cand. mag. degree from the University of Oslo in 1951, followed by a Cand. philol. degree in history and languages in 1955.
