Jamil Zubairi (November 30, 1925 - December 17, 2011) was a prominent Urdu writer, novelist, travelogue writer, broadcaster, and translator from Pakistan. Born in Mahra, Etah, Uttar Pradesh, British India, he moved to Pakistan post-independence and settled in Karachi. He began his career at Radio Pakistan and retired as Deputy Controller. Zubairi authored several notable works including short story collections and novels. His travelogues reflect his journeys across India, London, Canada, and the USA. He translated books from English and Balochi into Urdu, contributing significantly to Urdu literature.
