Aleksey Mikhailovich Nikiforov (April 8, 1956 - May 11, 2006) was a Soviet and Russian radiologist. He earned his Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in 1994 and became a professor in 1998. In 2005, he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. Throughout his career, he contributed significantly to the field of radiology in Russia.
