Boris Lvovich Gorshkov (April 20, 1939 – November 25, 2021) was a Soviet and Russian violin maker, expert, educator, and restorer. He served as the chairman of the Creative Union of Masters and Restorers of Musical Instruments. Gorshkov was recognized as a Distinguished Worker of Culture of the RSFSR in 1989 and as a People's Artist of the Russian Federation in 1995. He was a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts in 2008 and became an honorary resident of the Arbat municipal district in 2012.
