Alexander Borisovich Urakin, born on September 25, 1978, in Leningrad, is a Russian ice hockey player who played as a forward. A product of St. Petersburg's hockey scene, he spent most of his career with the second team of SKA during the seasons of 1994/95 to 1998/99 and 2000/01 to 2001/02. He made his Russian Championship debut with SKA in the 1997/98 season, taking part in 14 matches, and also played 13 matches for HC Voronezh the following season. He played for Spartak Saint Petersburg in the 1999/2000 and 2001/02 seasons.
