Fayyaz Kawash Atavi (January 15, 1937 - October 12, 1999) was a renowned Urdu poet and teacher from Pakistan, known for his Naat poetry. He was born in Atawa, Uttar Pradesh, British India. His birth name was Fayyaz Ahmed Khan, and he later moved to Pakistan in 1952. He worked as a lecturer and headed the Urdu department at Shah Abdul Latif College, among other educational roles. His poetry evolved from ghazals to focus on religious themes in his later years. He authored three books, including 'Noor-o-Nekhat' and 'Aftab-e-Wilayat'.
