Vasyl Moiseyovych Onashchenko (January 14, 1901 - January 21, 1973) was a Ukrainian Soviet architect and educator. He studied at the Dnipropetrovsk Mining Institute and the Kyiv Art Institute, completing his education at the Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute. Throughout his career, he worked on various architectural projects in Kyiv, including residential buildings and theaters, and held teaching positions in architectural faculties, significantly influencing the education of future architects. He served in the Red Army during World War II and returned to education until his passing in Kyiv.
