Karren Khachaturov Topchyan was an Armenian pianist and educator born on February 14, 1937, in Leninakan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He was recognized as a Merited Artist of the Republic of Armenia in 1977 and became a professor in 2002. He passed away on April 11, 2017, in Yerevan, Armenia. His contributions to music and education have had a lasting impact on the arts in Armenia.
