Shakib Kazem Saadi Al-Jubouri Al-Ani was an Iraqi writer, critic, and linguist born in Baghdad on May 8, 1945. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Arabic language from the Mustansiriya University in 1975 and pursued a master's thesis on Quranic readings that he never defended. He began publishing in 1966 and authored over a thousand articles and studies in Iraqi and Arab newspapers and magazines, in addition to several published books. He passed away on April 20, 2023.
