Avigdor Tal (April 9, 1917 – April 13, 1965) was the CEO of Hashkem and the first representative of Israel's security system in Germany. He served as Deputy Chief of Supply Branch of the IDF and Deputy Commander of the IDF Supply Corps. Tal was responsible for supply operations in besieged Jerusalem during the War of Independence and managed the office for handling discharged soldiers in Jerusalem. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the King of England for his service in the British Army during World War II.
