He focuses on low convection and supercells, with a specialization in radar analysis. Roháček introduced the concept of 'dynamic-showers' and maintains a Facebook page for detailed forecasts. His research includes meteorological typology and he has studied the Moravian F4 tornado. Currently, he works as a meteorologist for the German company WetterOnline.
