이필상 (이필상, born December 30, 1947) is a South Korean professor who served as the 16th president of Korea University from December 21, 2006, until his resignation. He obtained his PhD in business administration from Columbia University and has been a professor at Korea University since 1982. A notable controversy arose during his presidency due to plagiarism allegations regarding his past works, leading to a vote of confidence among the faculty. After resigning, he returned to a faculty position and later became the chair of the Private Finance Commission in December 2007.
