Edmund í Garði (1928–1994) was a Faroese politician and educational leader. He graduated from the Føroya Læraraskúli in 1950 and worked as a primary school teacher for most of his life, becoming headmaster in 1972. He served on the Faroese school board from 1975 to 1994 and was its chairman from 1989. He was also involved in local church governance and was a member of the Lagting from 1978-1980. He contributed to religious publications and translated hymns. He changed his name in 1963 from Edmund Abrahamsen to the more colloquial Edmund í Garði.
