Fríðrikur Bláhamar (1902-1981) was a Faroese shipowner, fishing skipper, and politician. Born in Elduvík, he served on the Lagtinget from 1945 to 1958. Growing up in a farming family, he was actively involved in maritime professions, particularly during WWII, supplying fish to Britain. He authored his memoirs about a WWII maritime incident. Bláhamar was also involved in several local governance roles and committees. He spent his professional life at sea and contributed significantly to Faroese maritime and political activities.
