Динчо Брайков Будаков was a significant figure from Koprivshtitsa who served as a member of the RMS and a partisan in the Georgi Benkovski Partisan Brigade. He was educated at a dairy school in Pirdop, becoming involved in underground activities which led to his arrest. After the 1944 coup, he became the mayor of the village of Dushantsi, noted for not having any disappearances or executions of 'fascists' in his village. He later worked in State Security and held various leadership positions in local agricultural cooperatives.
