Marta Ivanivna Bazak, born on January 24, 1953, in Kolomyia, is a Ukrainian scientist and artist specializing in decorative arts, particularly tapestries, as well as painting and graphic art. She studied at local schools and graduated from the Lviv State College of Applied Arts in 1972 and later from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts in 1978. An active member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1988, she has participated in over 70 exhibitions since 1976, including 14 solo exhibits, with works held in various museums and private collections.
