Mykhailo Serhiovych Baroyants was a Ukrainian painter of Armenian descent, born on September 25, 1925, in Kropotkin and passed away on June 17, 2006, in Kyiv. He became a member of the Union of Soviet Artists of Ukraine in 1958. Baroyants was married to artist Liudmyla Semikina and was the father of painter Setrak Baroyants.
