Oleksandr Matviyovych Helshtein is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and football functionary born on December 24, 1973, in Kharkiv. He is the president of the Helios football club in Kharkiv and is the son of Matviy Helshtein, a well-known businessman and former vice-president of FC Metalist. Helshtein graduated in 1996 with a degree in Marketing and Management from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. He founded Helios football club in 2002, which competed in the Ukrainian first league from 2005 to 2018. He also owns the Helios Fireworks brand and a recreation center in Kharkiv.
