Георгій Миколайович Горст is a Ukrainian prose writer and a member of the Union of Writers of Ukraine since 1984, as well as the Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Born on February 15, 1942, in Odessa, he graduated from the philological faculty of Odessa State University. He has worked as an editor in regional television and in the publishing sector, and has published works in several literary magazines. Currently, he teaches Ukrainian language and literature at a boarding school in Odessa.
