He is known for creating the music for the famous song "Ya kozachka tvoya" performed by Raisa Kyrychenko. He was recognized as the Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2007 and worked with the Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic Center for festivals and concert programs. In August 2015, he was arrested on suspicion of corrupting a minor, and a court found him guilty on November 23.
