Yaroslav Teodozіyovych Kapko (February 22, 1907 – May 14, 1979) was a Ukrainian educator and astronomer. He was a member of the International Astronomical Union and the Commission for the Study of Variable Stars of the Astronomical Council of the USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1959 to 1977, he served as the director of the Astronomical Observatory of Lviv University. His expeditions spanned from Mount Pip Ivan in the Carpathians to Kamchatka.
