Hrant Haykazovich Simonyan (born February 28, 1928) is an Armenian veterinarian and doctor of veterinary sciences (1976), who became a professor in 1984. He is noted for his contributions to veterinary science and was recognized as an Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation in 2002. Simonyan was born in Chardakhlu, located in the Elisavetpol Governorate of the Azerbaijan SSR within the USSR.
