Bohdan Yosypovych Kogut (March 15, 1921 – February 16, 2011) was a Ukrainian writer, political prisoner, and member of the OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists). He was also a member of the Union of Writers of Ukraine and the Society of Political Prisoners and Repressed Individuals. Kogut was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. His father, Yosyp Kogut, was a novelist, historian, and soldier in the Ukrainian Galician Army.
