Mykola Vasylovych Kostenko (March 19, 1939 – April 14, 2016) was a Ukrainian writer, journalist, literary critic, and literary scholar. He was a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine since 1965 and the National Union of Writers of Ukraine since 1997. Kostenko served as the head of the Poltava regional organization of the National Union of Writers from 2000 to 2005 and was elected head of the Poltava Writers' Union in 2006.
