Dmytro Arsentiyovych Makhar (December 23, 1922 – December 8, 2004) was a Ukrainian doctor and professor. He served as the head of the Department of General Surgery at Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytsky. Makhar was also a full member of the Scientific Society named after T. G. Shevchenko and an honorary member of the Ukrainian Medical Society. His career was marked by contributions to the medical field in Ukraine.
