Lidiya Mefodiyivna Mityayeva (Pakharyeva) was a Ukrainian glass artist born on April 14, 1923, in Mstislavl. She became a member of the Union of Soviet Artists of Ukraine in 1958 and was recognized as a Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR in 1974. Later, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine in 1992. Mityayeva was the mother of artist Tamila Moskalko and the grandmother of artist Ivanna Moskalko. She passed away on November 16, 1996, in Kyiv.
