Novoselskyi is a member of the board of the Union of Blacksmithing Artisans and a corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture. He has been awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine and is a Knight of the Order of Saint Sylvester from Pope Benedict XVI, reflecting international recognition of his work.
