Mykhailo Pavlovych Nosov (November 8, 1930 – March 7, 1995) was a scholar in the field of materials science and chemical fiber technology. He obtained the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 1967 and became a professor in 1972. Nosov served as the president of the Ukrainian Technological Academy and was recognized as an honored scientist of the Ukrainian SSR in 1981.
