Oleksiy Hryhorovych Solomchenko (June 6, 1920 – May 7, 2002) was a Ukrainian art scholar and educator. He became a member of the Union of Soviet Artists of Ukraine in 1964 and joined the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine in 1998. In 1996, he was honored with the title of Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine. Solomchenko was also awarded the Yuriy Shkriblyak Prize in 1993, recognizing his contributions to the field of art.
