Ivan Mironovich Chizhenko (March 27, 1916, Kozyn, Kyiv Governorate – 2004) was a Soviet and Ukrainian scientist in the field of electrical engineering. He held a doctorate in technical sciences, was a professor, and became an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1988. Chizhenko served as the head of the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering from 1950 to 1989 and was the vice-rector for scientific work at KPI from 1959 to 1969. He also acted as an advisor to the rector of KPI from 1989.
