Ahmed Samir (1940-1995) was an Egyptian media personality born in Zagazig. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Cairo University in 1961 and later pursued advanced studies in media and acting. Joining television in 1963, he rose through ranks to become the President of Channel One in 1994. Notable for broadcasting major news events, he also produced and starred in plays and wrote stories for several films and television series. He passed away due to a heart attack on December 15, 1995.
