Sheikh Ahmad Abdul Amir Qabalan is a Lebanese Shiite cleric and the son of Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council in Lebanon. He was born in the southern town of Mays al-Jabal in Jabal Amel. He began his religious studies in Lebanon before moving to Iran for advanced religious education, while also obtaining a law degree from the Lebanese University. He is currently serving as the Grand Jafari Mufti in Lebanon.
