زليخة السعودي (1943-1972) was an Algerian writer born in the Makada area of Khenshla in eastern Algeria. She memorized half of the Qur'an by age 4 and attended the School of Reform until 1956. She continued her studies through correspondence, obtaining her teaching certificate in 1963. She worked at the national radio after winning a contest. Zliha left a rich literary legacy, including short stories, plays, and articles, often published under pseudonyms like 'Amal'. Her works were compiled and published posthumously in 2001.
