Dimitar Petrov Shoylew is a Bulgarian physician, orthopedist, and traumatologist who has greatly contributed to sports traumatology in Bulgaria. Born on April 24, 1935, in Sofia, he studied medicine in Bulgaria and trained for ten years in Poland under notable orthopedist Professor Adam Gruca. Since 1986, he has been a professor at the Medical Faculty in Sofia and founded the 'Dianabad' clinic, which he led for over 25 years. He is married to actress Vancha Doycheva.
