He served as the Deputy Minister of Education and Science from 2003 to 2005, as the rector of the Technical University of Sofia from 2005 to 2011, and as the chairman of the Patent Office in two terms from 2011 to 2014 and 2015 to 2016. He was born in Gorna Dzhumaya on February 23, 1946, and passed away on January 29, 2021.
