August Mõttus (April 27, 1908 – April 19, 1992) was an Estonian veterinarian who served as the chairman of the Estonian Veterinary Association from 1939 to 1940. He studied at Tartu University and worked in various positions, including a veterinarian in Rõngu and Nõmme. After fleeing to Germany in 1944, he moved to Sweden in 1948, where he continued his profession in Kävlinge, Lund, and Hörby.
