Nissim Salomon (February 25, 1938 - November 26, 2006) was a colonel in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and served as the head of the Jerusalem Education Administration from 1992 to 1997. He was the deputy CEO of the Jerusalem Municipality from 1997 to 2004 and led a committee for strengthening Jerusalem in the Prime Minister's Office in 1998. A pioneer in the IDF Education Corps, he held senior positions and researched significant military events such as the bombing of the Iraqi reactor and the Yom Kippur War.
