Serik Akpenuly Ayaganov is a Kazakh scholar born on April 10, 1952, in Stepnyak, Birjan Sal District. He completed his medical degree in 1975 and later obtained a doctorate in medical sciences in 2003. Ayaganov has held multiple positions, including a surgeon and chief doctor at various hospitals and serving as a member and secretary of the Social and Cultural Development Committee in the Senate of Kazakhstan since December 2005. He has been the chief doctor of Akmolinsk regional hospital since 2011.
