Viktor Fedorovich Miroglov (1939-1998) was a writer and translator from Kazakhstan. He graduated from KazNU in 1961 and worked as an engineer-hydrologist and as a manager in education. Miroglov held various editorial positions at different publications and contributed to over thirty documentaries and popular science films. He also translated works of notable Kazakh authors into Russian, including I. Yesenberlin's trilogy 'Golden Horde'. His career in journalism began in 1959.
