Gulnar Yusupkyzy Saitova, born on June 10, 1952, in the Almaty region, is a Uyghur artist and a candidate of art studies since 1995. She graduated from the choreography directing faculty of the Kazakh National University of Arts in 1999. Saitova has been a ballet artist at the State Uyghur Musical Comedy Theater since 1971 and has served as the chief choreographer since 1995. She is also a senior lecturer at the same university. She has published works on Uyghur dance and has received several prestigious awards for her contributions to the arts.
