He graduated from the Almaty College of Estrada and Circus Arts in 1965 and further honed his skills at the Kurmangazy Conservatory. Abildaev performed extensively with the Otyrar Sazy orchestra, winning multiple awards in international competitions, including first prize at the April-94 festival in North Korea. His repertoire includes various folk songs and classical pieces, showcasing his diverse musical talent over the past 25 years.
