Ертілесов Жұрғали (1928-1992) was a notable journalist and writer from Kazakhstan. He began his career as a responsible secretary at the Kolkhozshylar Uny newspaper in 1947 after graduating from high school. After serving in the Soviet Army (1950-1953), he attended the Alma-Ata Party School. He held key editorial positions in various newspapers and was involved in the Kazakh Soviet Encyclopedia. He authored 'Жастық жалыны' and 'Туған жер түлектері', and received several awards for his work in journalism.
