Jusip Baybolatuly Kydyrov (March 18, 1937 - 1983) was a Kazakh poet and journalist who graduated from the Kazakh State University in 1960. He worked in various capacities in the press, becoming a literary worker and head of a department at 'Leninshil Zhas' newspaper, and served as a senior editor at Kazakhfilm and Zhalyn publishing house. Kydyrov began his literary career in the early 1960s and authored several poetry collections. He translated works of Eastern poets into Kazakh and received a posthumous award from the Kazakhstan Writers' Union for his collection 'Myn bir kun' in 1984.
