A member of the Nur Otan party since 2006, he has held various engineering and managerial roles, including Deputy Director of Oral Railway Depot and President of Nurzhanar JSC. In 1999, he became a member of the Senate of Kazakhstan. He is awarded the Order of Honor and six commemorative medals. Rashit is married with two children and enjoys fishing, hunting, and reading about prominent political figures.
