He has served in various high-level positions in economic institutions and government, including vice-president of the Kazybek Corporation and director of the Kazakh Ministry of Economy. Nogerbekov is a prolific author with 48 scientific publications and three monographs. He is a member of the 'Nurse Otan' political party and is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
