Jaqsylyq Tyumenbaev (January 5, 1944 – 1993) was a Kazakh writer and journalist. He graduated from KazMU (KazNU) in 1968 with a degree in journalism. From 1968 to 1975, he worked at the 'Lenin zholy' newspaper, which is now known as 'Syr Boyy'. He later became the deputy editor of the information agency under the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR and was the chief editor of the 'Densaulyk' magazine.
