강용준 (姜龍俊, born November 29, 1931) is a South Korean novelist born in Hwanghae-do, Anak. He attended Jinampho Industrial School and later studied at Pyongyang University. During the Korean War, he served in the North Korean army and spent three years as a prisoner. He debuted in 1958 with the short story "Barbed Wire," winning the first Sasanggye New Literature Award. His notable works include "Evil Spirit," "Fighting Spirit Like the Sun," and "Diary of a Madman." He is recognized for his humanistic portrayal of extreme human conditions through vivid experiences of post-war turmoil.
