Kim Seok-jun (born March 28, 1957) is a South Korean politician and university professor who has served as the Superintendent of Education in Busan for two terms. After graduating from Seoul National University with degrees in sociology, he became a professor at Pusan National University. Kim ran for mayor of Busan in 2002 and 2006 as a member of the Democratic Labor Party. In the 2014 local elections, he was elected as the unitary candidate from the democratic progressive faction and was re-elected in 2018.
