Won Gyoung-soo (b. December 4, 1928) is a South Korean conductor born in Seoul. He studied violin and composition at Seoul National University before furthering his education in the USA and Austria. He held conductor roles with various orchestras, including the New Orleans Philharmonic and KBS Symphony, and conducted the opening ceremony of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. An active musician, he has contributed to performances of unfinished works and remains a guest conductor with several orchestras, earning accolades such as the Order of Culture Merit.
